Brazilian non-profit Alinha Institute has recently announced that they want to inform customers about the working conditions of the workshops the clothes are manufactured.
The purpose of Instituto Alinha is to assist entrepreneurs/owners of small garment factories to regularize their businesses, by connecting them to brands and designers interested in partnering with garment factories, to ensure fair prices and production time. Member brands have access to certified garment factories and a production management system, in addition to Blockchain technology, which ensures both transparency and traceability.
