BREEDBIT – Bitcoin Mining Equipment, GPU, Power & Products Store?

Breedbit claims to be “the ultimate bitcoin products store and information portal.” Find out what products they sell – and what information they provide – today in our review.

What Is Breedbit?

Breedbit is an online store and informational website found online at The website sells a variety of products catered to the bitcoin community – including hardware wallets and mining equipment.

Some of the most popular products available through today include the Antminer S9, the Trezor hardware wallet, and the Ledger Nano S.

At a glance, some of the prices seem significantly higher than what you would pay at Amazon and other retailers, while other prices are more competitive. A Trezor is priced at $130 from Breedbit, for example, listed as “35% off” down from its regular price of $200, when in reality, you can buy them for around $100.

In addition to an online products store, Breedbit features general information about bitcoin and the cryptocurrency industry. You can read a detailed guide on how to buy bitcoin, for example.

Overall, the main purpose of is to sell various bitcoin-related products to you. With that in mind, let’s look at the online store.

The Breedbit Online Store

Breedbit’s online store is separated into six different categories. Here’s a brief overview of each category:

At the moment, Breedbit sells four different products in its miners category, including the Antminer 7 ($600), the Antminer S9 ($3800), the Avalon 7 ($900), and the Antrouter R1 ($100). The first three products are all miners, while the Antrouter R1 is a wireless networking device that contains a bitcoin mining chip. It’s not as powerful as a regular miner, but you’re still competing for the chance to solve a block.

Digital Wallets

Breedbit has a “digital wallets” category, which includes exclusively hardware wallets. Typically, when we hear a term like “digital wallets”, we’d expect to see online wallets or hot wallets. This category would better be described as “digital currency wallets”. Regardless, Breedbit features five products in this category, including the Ledger Blue ($100), the Ledger Nano S ($400), Trezor ($130), Trezor 2.0 ($600), and the Digital Bitbox Hardware Wallet ($80).

Custom Desktops

You don’t have to buy a specialized miner to start mining bitcoin. You can purchase custom-made desktop rigs, which is what you’ll find in this Breedbit category. The category currently includes just one mining rig, the HP Pavilion 550ST desktop, priced at $800. The computer is listed as a “VR Ready Gaming/Mining Desktop Computer.” In terms of mining capability, the rig has a GTX 1060 inside.

Power Supplies

Breedbit’s power supplies category features four different power supplies, including the AntMiner APW5 and the EVGA SuperNOVA. The APW5 has a 1300W to 2600W output (depending on 110V or 220V input), while the SuperNOVA has a 1600W output.

Breedbit has a miscellaneous “Equipment” category that currently features just one item: Stash Node Pro ($1300). It’s described as a “bank in a box” and an “autonomous, fully-featured financial platform, accessible anytime and anywhere.” Basically, Stash Node Pro contains a full copy of the bitcoin blockchain, allowing you to support the bitcoin ecosystem as a full node. However, you can also use it as a personal transaction server and financial platform – say, if you wanted to utilize bitcoin’s blockchain as your own blockchain.

Video Cards

Breedbit’s video cards category includes all of the products you would expect – including high-end video cards popular among miners and gamers alike. Some of the popular products in this category include the GTX 1080 and the MSI Radeon RX 580.

Who’s Behind Breedbit?

Breedbit lists just one way to contact the company: [email protected] Aside from that single email address, we can’t find any further information about the company or its creators available online. The company’s “About Us” page is blank, and the links to its social media properties all lead to 404 pages.

Ultimately, it’s not unusual for a company to stay anonymous in the bitcoin community. However, when they’re dealing with your personal information and payment info, it would be nice to have further information about Breedbit’s team and where they’re based.

The domain was registered on May 24, 2017.

Breedbit Conclusion

Breedbit is an online store and informational website catered to the bitcoin community. The website features products like hardware wallets and video cards. Although the website claims to offer big discounts on these products, prices are similar – typically, higher – than what you’ll find on other stores. Make sure you search for your Breedbit product on Google before you buy – you may be paying more than you’re required.

It’s also important to note that we can’t find any other information about Breedbit available online, outside of the official website. We can’t find any customer reviews, for example – so the website could be brand new as of September 2017.
