Call Of Duty Easter Egg Hides A Crypto Message In Balck Ops 3
According to a blog post released on February 22nd, there is a very interesting billboard in Call of Duty Balck Ops 3 that seems to hide a pro-cryptocurrency message. The author of the blog post, Vel Kravik, explains that walking through the streets of a gang-run Singapore, there is a billboard that is a reminder to why the crypto push started.
The message reads:
“Live life in confidence knowing your bank will take care of your future.”
The phrase has been signed by Leah Nguyen. This fictional person is advertising a financial answer to those readers that are worried about the future. The game shows a post-apocalyptic world and in that mission, the user has to move around a destroyed metropolis that has no rules.
As per Kravik, in order to find the easter egg, it is necessary to play the “In Darkness” mission, approach the communications relay station, take the staircase on the right and look over the water. The billboard will appear up there.
According to Kravik, in the future, there will be more games promoting cryptocurrencies. As he explains, gaming is transforming from simulated narratives to alternative narratives. Games are starting to look more realistic and content should follow as well. He says that cryptocurrencies are the new “realistic” system of finance.
Clearly, there are different virtual currency projects that offer different solutions. There are also some “Multi-chain” proposals that are trying to provide answers to some of the challenges faced by the space.
The author mentions one of the best solutions in the market, called Block Collider, allowing users to pay with a coin the features found on another. Finally, virtual currencies evolve at all times. They are also adaptable, thus, they are also prepared to change in case it is needed.
“I am avid support of the space and as such only earn crypto for all my tasks. Most of the things I am involved with are at a pseudo-anonymous level and, to the extent that I can, what I build will always be the technologies that solve; cheating, bias, limits and loading,” he explained.
