Canaan Releases New 50W/T Bitcoin ASIC Miner Avalon A10 to Compete Against Bitmain
Canaan Creative has unveiled its new Bitcoin miner called Avalonminer A10. The company is the second largest manufacturer of mining hardware for Bitcoin (BTC). The decision to launch the Avalonminer A10 came after the success of the A9 series.
Canaan Creative Releases New A10 Bitcoin Miner
The new A10 miner will be available for purchase in the next season. According to the company, the miner took half a year to be developed and attract buyers. The official WeChat account of the company informed that the new Bitcoin ASIC is expected to deliver a hash rate of 31 TH/s at a power consumption of 1736W.
Apparently, the new miner will be released as soon as today or tomorrow, since the firm mentioned that it will be for sale since March 2019.
The company released the first 7nm miner called Avalonminer A9 before Bitmain’s Antimner S15 release. There are also other firms launching 7nm miners and reaching new participants in the space.

Nowadays, with the current price of Bitcoin and mining difficulty, miners are trying to maximize their efficiency by having as much cheap electricity as possible.
