Canadian Coinbase Customers Can Now Link Their PayPal Accounts With the Exchange
Coinbase customers in Canada will now be able to link their accounts with PayPal, one of the most popular payment services around the world. The information was released by Coinbase in a blog post on May 28. This comes just a few weeks after the company decided to add support for users in the United States and the European Union (EU).
Coinbase Allows Canadians to Link Their Accounts With PayPal
In a recent article released by Allen Osgood, Product at Coinbase, they informed that users in Canada will be able to connect their PayPal accounts to Coinbase. The crypto platform has been working during the last years in order to become the most respected and recognized crypto platform and exchange in the market.
The goal of this implementation is to give customers the ability to process their funds in a way that is reliable and safe. There were several individuals requesting this feature since it is very useful for many users.
The article released by Coinbase reads:
“Support for PayPal provides immediate access to funds through one of the world’s easiest and most widely-used payment platforms. Transferring sale proceeds into a PayPal account is fast and free – customers will incur no fees for such transfers.”
Users that want to link their accounts only need to sign in to Coinbase, link the PayPal account, select the option for sale proceeds and the funds will be accessed instantly. The intention is to offer PayPal for users in other regions around the world rather than just the European Union, the United States and Canada.
Coinbase is also expanding with its trading platform that is now available for over 100 countries.
