Cardano Mainnet 1.7.0 Updates
The Daedalus 0.15.0 will include a client-oriented newsfeed interface that will rank news in four categories. This interface will display important news on the whole screen while the rest will be featured on a sidebar. The upgrade will also include a recovery phrase feature for Daedalus wallets, users will be prompted to use a 12-word phrase to confirm they have the correct recovery. Furthermore, they will get six-month warnings to check whether their recovery phrases are still correct, although they can ignore them, it is advised that all cryptocurrency holders check their recovery phrases.
Cardano also redesigned its update system which will now cover the whole screen as opposed to a smaller notification in the previous version. Also, the dialog system has been included on the Daedalus user interface to simplify the saving functions within Cardano’s ecosystem. The SL 3.1.0 version also includes an endpoint verification feature that identifies a wallet ID based on its recovery phrase.
