Casey Research Crisis Investing Review: Cannabis, CBD and Marijuana Reports by Nick Giambruno

Investment analysis website Casey Research recently launched a new marketing campaign for its high-priced Crisis Investing email newsletter. Find out everything you need to know about the newsletter today in our review.

What is Casey Research?

Casey Research is an investment analysis website run by Doug Casey, described as “a multi-millionaire and owner of 100,000 acres across three continents.”

Today, Casey Research offers a number of monthly email newsletters that explain how you can enjoy financial success like Doug Casey. The newsletters – including Crisis Investing – are marketed to investors with lines like this:

“His investment method is so lucrative that our readers are raking in huge returns from reading Crisis Investing.”

The email newsletters are accompanied by “testimonials” from “real readers” who claim to have become multi-millionaires by following the advice given in Crisis Investing and other newsletters. The sales page for Crisis Investing, for example, tells the story of one reader who earned “692% up since Sept 22” and another reader who is “still up close to 100 grand” because of the investment advice provided by Doug Casey and the Casey Research team.

Clearly, Casey Research is confident about the investment advice it provides – so let’s take a closer look at how their advice works.

What Is Crisis Investing?

Casey Research has launched a new online marketing campaign for an email newsletter called Crisis Investing. That email newsletter will arrive in your inbox once per month. By following the advice in that newsletter, you can earn significant returns on investment. As mentioned above, Casey Research claims investors can expect to earn returns of 100% to 692% on their investments just by following the advice in this newsletter.

Those “guaranteed” investment returns won’t come cheap, unfortunately. A two-year subscription of Crisis Investing is priced at $1,795 USD.

Casey Research does not provide any refunds. Plus, all buyers are automatically subscribed to automatically renew their subscription every two years.

In any case, Casey Research describes Crisis Investing as their premium investment advice newsletter:

“It’s one of our top-tier, premium research services here at Casey Research. And it’s THE investment strategy that unlocks stock gains that could hand you a fortune.”

As you may have guessed from the name, the Crisis Investing newsletter relies on the idea that the best time to acquire assets is during a time of crisis. Times of crises provide an excellent opportunity to scoop up assets for pennies on the dollar. You can buy low and sell high.

What Is The Mysterious Plant On The $10 Bill?

The latest marketing campaign for Casey Research’s Crisis Investing features a video and written transcript. The video starts with an image of a $10 USD bill:

“Can you spot this clue to a $22 billion fortune?”

asks the video.

“This $10 banknote from 1914 reveals a once taboo substance that’s now creating miracle foods and medicines. It’s already made some investors as much as 23 times their money. Now, thanks to Bill 115-661, you have the chance to make your fortune from this space.”

The video is led by a man named Nick Giambruno. Over the course of the video, Giambruno aims to convince you that a new farm bill making its way through the U.S. regulatory system provides an enormous opportunity for U.S. investors.

“But thanks to a sweeping law change…It could make early investors wealthy in mere months.”

When you make your way through the video or transcript, you get to Giambruno’s point: a bill called Bill 115-661 will legalize hemp production across the United States. Overnight, CBD supplements will be legal nationwide. An industry that has been suppressed by legal concerns will explode with growth over the next few years.

“23 times your money could be just the beginning”, promises the Casey Research team as images of wealthy people flash across the screen.

Over the course of the hour-plus video, Giambruno highlights a number of developments in the hemp industry over the last year. Giambruno discusses the potential health benefits of hemp, for example, including the specific effects that chemical compounds like cannabidiol (CBD) have on the human body.

The ultimate goal of the video is to convince you to sign up for an $1800 subscription to Crisis Investing. Your subscription will come with a handful of bonus reports related directly to CBD and the growing field of marijuana. The reports come with sensational names like, “Last Chance at Marijuana Millions”. Again, pictures of wealthy people flash across the screen, suggesting that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get rich quick.

Let’s take a closer look at what’s included with your subscription to Crisis Investing to see if it’s worth the high price tag.

What’s Included With Crisis Investing?

The ultimate goal of the Casey Research marketing campaign is to convince you to pay $1,795 for a two-year subscription to Crisis Investing. To convince you to pay that lofty sum, the company has added a series of bonus eBooks to every purchase.

Here is what’s included with your purchase of Crisis Investing:

40X Your Money from the CBD Surge: This eBook explains some of the most popular CBD stocks on the market today. Investors are told they can expect 40X returns by investing in these CBD stocks today.

Last Chance at Marijuana Millions: The team at Casey Research claims “we’re looking at the last leg of marijuana mega-gains”. As marijuana increasingly becomes legalized nationwide, the days of the rapid growth of marijuana companies may soon be over. In this report, Casey Research highlights “three stocks that could hand you 1,000% gains”, including a full writeup on why the stocks have potential.

De-Fang the Red Dragon and Make 11X Your Money:

“In this report, you’ll discover how to turn every $5,000 you invest into a $55,000 windfall,”

explains Casey Research. The company claims that these opportunities exist due to the ongoing trade war between the United States and China. “What most people don’t realize is that China has an ace up their sleeve. They have a virtual monopoly on rare earth resources that the U.S. military must have to achieve their missions.” Casey Research claims there’s one rare earth mineral company that is not based in China. By investing in this company today, you can expect to earn “11 times your money”, according to Casey Research.

Crisis Investing Owner’s Manual: Your $1,795 subscription to Crisis Investing comes with an “owner’s manual”. This mysterious owner’s manual explains how there’s “a silent crisis brewing between President Trump and the CIA”, and that investors who are aware of the crisis can achieve “millionaire status” from it. Investors who are unaware, meanwhile, will have their savings “cut in half”. The manual details a conspiracy theory that could affect the markets.

24 Issues of Crisis Investing: Crisis Investing is a monthly email newsletter. Your $1,795 purchase includes a two-year subscription (24 issues) for Crisis Investing.

All of the above products will be sent to your email inbox. As far as we can tell, there are no physical products included with any of the above. You will receive the digital eBooks immediately. Then, you will receive 1 copy of Crisis Investing every month for 24 months.

Crisis Investing Pricing

Crisis Investing is priced at $1,795 for a two-year subscription.

Casey Research does not offer refunds. All sales are final. There does not even appear to be a trial period.

Making things look even worse for Casey Research is that the company automatically subscribes every customer to its automatic renewal system. The company will continue charging your credit card $1,795 every two years until you manually cancel your subscription.

Conclusion: Is Crisis Investing Worth The Price?

You should be skeptical any time somebody is trying to sell you investment advice while promising returns of 100% to 1,000%. The marketing videos for Crisis Investing make some ridiculous claims about the value of the company’s investment advice.

Investors are told to expect gains of 300% to 1,000% by following the investment advice provided by the company. There are testimonials from “real customers” who claim to have become millionaires by following this investment advice.

Hyperbolic ROI claims aside, Crisis Investing also has a worrying pricing system and refund policy: the company silently subscribes every customer to its automatic renewal system, which means your credit card will automatically be charged $1,795 every two years until you manually call the company to cancel.

When you pay $1,795 for an email newsletter, you expect more in terms of market analysis and customer service. However, it’s up to you to decide if Casey Research’s Crisis Investing is worth the high price tag.
