Cashshuffle Privacy-Centric Protocol Launches for BCH Using Electron Cash Wallet
Cashshuffle is a new technology that promotes privacy for bitcoin cash transactions. As the platform explains, it makes it “hard to track your coins by shuffling them together with other users.” The platform is a completely decentralized coin mixing protocol that essentially shuffles users’ coins together, thus making it difficult to determine transactions.
Jonald Fyookball, the developer of Electron Cash, announced that Cashshuffle version 5.0 has been released and it is available for Linux, Windows, and Max. To ensure the effectiveness of the platform and technology, Cashshuffle has been successfully audited by Kudelski Security.
During the audit, those in the security firm analyzed the platform’s implementation, interaction with the blockchain network, error handling, and other factors that impact security. In addition, the security firm took a look at the platform’s general code safety and susceptibility to ensure that transactions were safe, secure, and not prone to the dissemination of information. The report found
”We believe that the Cashshuffle codebase that we reviewed is implementing the Coinshuffle protocol with no significant deviations, and we did not find any evidence of malicious intent, flawed logic or potential backdoor in the codebase.”
The platform’s latest 4.0 version has been tested by News Bitcoin.com to determine how the technology works. According to their account, to receive a new wallet, users simply need to visit the Electron Cash website to download the latest 4.0 release for the specific operating system that they are using. Once the download has concluded, installing the program takes a matter of minutes. At the end of the process, the wallet will open and enable users to send, store, and receive bitcoin.
The tools tab and subsequently selecting optional features enables users to toggle Cashshuffle and to connect to the server. Toggling it is beneficial because it makes it easier to maintain privacy. The server and be enabled and disabled as well by clicking a small orange icon, which is located next to the lock symbol.
