Centra is a multi-blockchain worldwide debit card. Find out how it aims to push the cryptocurrency community forward today in our Centra review.
What Is Centra?
Centra, found online at Centra.tech, is a cryptocurrency wallet linked with a debit card. You can use the debit card worldwide, which means you can spend your cryptocurrencies wherever cards are accepted.
The company raised $5 million in its pre-ICO that took place in July. Now, they’re preparing for their main ICO throughout August and September.
In addition to the debit card and wallet, Centra is launching a platform called Coin Bay, which they’ve described as “the world’s first Amazon style superstore that is designed to be cryptocurrency acceptable.”
Centra has partnered with Visa, MasterCard, and a number of banks to allow them to issue cards worldwide. They officially support 100+ countries.
How Does Centra Work?
Centra is the world’s first multi-blockchain debit card connected to a smart wallet. The developers emphasize all of the features you would expect – including safety and security. More importantly, Centra is also insured.
The platform supports 8 of the most popular cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, Ethereum, ERC20 tokens, Litecoin, Ripple, Dash, ZCash, and Monero. They plan to continue adding currencies in the future.
After downloading the Centra wallet, you can use the Centra Card to spend your blockchain assets in real-time around the world. Users can also transfer, exchange, spend, and receive money through their wallet with 0% fees.
To avoid fees, Centra uses its Currency Conversion Engine (CCE) Module at the foundation of its products.
In addition to the wallet and debit card, Centra is launching an online store called Coin Bay, found online at www.cBay.io. That online store is an Amazon-style superstore designed to accept cryptocurrencies from the ground up. The marketplace features over 100,000 items, with more items to come in the future. Available items include clothing, electronics, household goods, and more. Vendors can list their products for sale on the Coin Bay marketplace.
The Centra Smart Wallet
One half of the Centra ecosystem is the Centra Smart Wallet. The wallet app makes it easy for people to register for the Centra Card, or Centra Debit Card. You can store your cryptocurrency assets in the wallet.
You can also use the app to perform ordinary banking functions – like turning your card on and off, for example, without the usual hassle of contacting your bank. Or, you can use the app to send money in 5+ currencies to 100+ countries with no fees. There are no interbank exchange rate fluctuations or excessive fees. All funds stored on your Centra Wallet are safe, secure, and insured from thefts and hackers.
The Centra Card
The Centra Card is a debit card available worldwide. Initially, the company is making two cards available. The first contributors of 100+ ETH will receive an all-metal EMV Centra Black Card, which comes with increased benefits, limits, and programs. Meanwhile, the first 500 contributors of 30+ ETH or more will receive the Centra Gold Card, which also comes with rewards and enhanced limits.
Most users, however, will receive the Centra Blue Card, which can be ordered through your Centra Wallet app. You can also order it in the form of a virtual card.

If you hold the Black card, then you get additional rental coverage, extended warranty coverage, the ability to purchase travel protection, and a bonus category rewards program.
Centra will issue a total of 100,000,000 CTR tokens. 68 million CTR tokens will be sold during the ICO, scheduled to take place between August 5 and October 10.
During the ICO, tokens are being sold at a ratio of 1 ETH = 400 CTR. Various bonuses are available. The ICO will continue until October 10, or until all tokens have been sold.

Centra is a cryptocurrency payment platform consisting of a mobile wallet and an international debit card. That debit card can be loaded with cryptocurrencies from your mobile wallet, then spent anywhere Visa or MasterCard are accepted. It functions like an ordinary credit card, but comes with surprisingly low fees across the board.
Centra is also planning to launch an online, Amazon-style marketplace called Coin Bay, where vendors can sell goods in exchange for cryptocurrency.
Centra has been making headlines through its ICO, and the company has clearly attracted a lot of attention. You can learn more about Centra today by visiting them online at Centra.tech.
