CEO of Twitter and Square, Jack Dorsey Invests $10,000 Per Week into Buying Bitcoin (BTC)
In a recent post made available by Coin Telegraph, it was disclosed that the CEO of Twitter and Square, Jack Dorsey has proved his admiration for the giant cryptocurrency, Bitcoin [BTC]. In particular, it has been estimated that he could be investing nearly $10,000 in BTC on a weekly basis.
Said information was supposedly first made available on Monday, March 4 during a podcast dubbed, “Tales from the Crypt”. Dorsey has always been for Bitcoin, as he views BTC no different than Twitter. During the podcast itself, he allegedly shared his first experience with BTC and how he sees it as eventually becoming the global currency of the internet.
When the “Stacking Sat Saturday” was addressed, Dorsey shared that he first heard of it through Twitter and how he wished to have invested in BTC then, however, he was not able to do so because he already surpassed the CashApp limit.
So, what is the CashApp limit? Coin Telegraph noted that the maximum one can invest is $10,000 per week on the mobile app. If Dorsey has reached the limit, that’s how much he has been investing.
This being said, he added that he will soon be joining Stacking Sat Saturday, as there supposedly exists weekly rotations.
Previously, Dorsey shared with Joe Rogan that “Bitcoin was something that was born on the internet, that was developed on the internet, that was tested on the internet […] it is of the internet,” reports Coin Telegraph.
A month ago, news outlet, AMB Crypto also covered Jack Dorsey, in which the latter believes financial institutions should view cryptocurrencies as an equivalent to blockchain technology rather than a threat.
He allegedly further added that their negative perspectives need to be altered to one that is an “enabling perspective”( https://ambcrypto.com/bitcoin-btc-backed-by-twitter-ceo-jack-dorsey-to-become-internets-native-currency/).
