Cheez Video App and Contentos Blockchain Platform to Offer Crypto Rewards System
Cheez Introduces a Cryptocurrency Reward System for its Clients
Cheez, a popular video application for mobile devices, has partnered with Contentos, a blockchain content platform, to establish a cryptocurrency bonus mechanism for its users. As result, the video platform will now support digital currencies such as BTC, ETH and COS (the Contentos token).
To earn the virtual currencies, Cheez user are required to complete at least 15 tasks on a daily basis. The tasks include watching videos, uploading files, playing games, and giving feedbacks, among many others.
As expected, such activity returns paltry rewards with the maximum daily cap set at 0.00024 BTC (~ $1.56) and 0.00352 ETH (~ $1.28) at the time of writing. Additionally, Cheez clients can claim bonuses after every three, six or ten accomplished tasks. Regarding this, Contentos’ founder, Mick Tsai, revealed that clients can accrue the cryptocurrencies and later transfer them into their digital wallets, from where they can exchange them into fiat money.
Contentos is a platform that uses blockchain technology to distribute revenues equitably amongst its customers. Notably, the deal with Cheez is the first major partnership forged by the company. As mentioned realer, the agreement allows Cheez clients to choose from BTC, ETH and COS. However, since COS is not listed on exchange platforms and has no value, user who earn the token can redeem it for products on the Cheez platform or hold it until it becomes operational.
Typically, Cheez videos last a maximum of 17 seconds. The app is hugely popular, having recorded millions of downloads in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Nonetheless, it is yet to oust the YouTube app, which has the upper hand since it is inbuilt in toe Android phones that make up a majority of the available smartphones. Recently Cheez declared that intends to spur the mass adoption of blockchain technology by developing solutions that are relevant to the average consumer.
