Children’s Lives and School Safety (C.L.A.S.S) to use Electroneum (ETN) as a Payment Method

Americans for C.L.A.S.S (Children’s Lives and School Safety), Andrew Pollack’s Charity has recently started a $50 million fundraising campaign that aims at eliminating school shootings. The campaign aims at raising $1 million per-state to help Americans for C.L.A.S.S’ implement an eight-point safety plan to secure schools and eliminate the risk of gun violence on campuses across America.

After his daughter Meadow Pollack was shot on 14th February 2018 in Stoneman Douglas school, Parkland Florida, Andrew Pollack founded C.L.A.S.S. He is determined to stop school shootings. As he addressed the US Donald Trump in the White House, Andrew said that the country has failed in its duty to protect their children. School shooting had been going on for decades and Andrew vowed to fix it himself.

The CLASS Campaign Partners With Electroneum

Electroneum (ETN), which is the world’s first mobile cryptocurrency, has been chosen as one of the methods of payment for the campaign.

Michael Stevens, the author of “ELLEN MELON”, a new children’s book series, will be running the ETN portion of the campaign. The mobile cryptocurrency, ETN, will be used as a payment method for the Ellen Melon children’s book box set, gardening kit, doll, seed planting kit, enhanced educational e-book (it is performed by Dean Cundey, a Hollywood legend) and educational video. The net profit from the sale of Ellen Mellon products will be fully donated to class and all that are interested in the purchase of the products as well as donating towards the campaign can do so by visiting the website.

Regarding Electroneum as a payment method for the campaign, Michael Stevens said that he was introduced to cryptocurrencies by Steve Whitaker who is the Ellen Melon e-book composer in November 2017. He further went to watch YouTube videos and read countless papers concerning cryptocurrency. He came to see the impact the crypto world had particularly on third world currencies. After further research, Michael was really impressed by Electroneum and he has a strong belief that Electroneum will truly make a big contribution to the $50 million campaign initiated by C.L.A.S.S. He went further to urge people to contribute towards the noble activity.

On the other hand, Electroneum CEO and Founder, Richard Ells, made a statement saying that ETN team was delighted to be C.L.A.S.S campaign and were humbled by the fact that their currency was chosen to be used as a means of fundraising, alongside Paypal and traditional currencies. He went further to comment saying that school shootings can and should be prevented.

The eight-point safety plan that includes securing the perimeter and establishing a school safety hotline among others will help in bringing school shootings to an end and making them a thing of the past. Richard went on to wishing Michael all the best in his campaign and assured him of support from the ETN team in the campaign as well as future projects that he may require help in.

Electroneum is a mobile cryptocurrency that is designed from the ground for mass adoption. Since its establishment, Electroneum has gained popularity among people and rapid growth is recorded. From its initial coin offering (ICO) in November 2017, ETN raised $40 million. Moreover, Electroneum has an instant payment system that can be easily implemented by the vendors. ETN now aims at launching a community directory, a vendor directory and a gig economy website.
