Circle Invest Opens Buying Cryptocurrency Collections with “Platforms, Payments and Privacy” Packages
Circle Invest Now Lets You Buy Collections of Cryptocurrencies
Since launch, Circle Invest has been making it easier to buy and sell cryptocurrency. Now, Circle has added a new feature to its popular crypto purchasing app: you can now buy collections of cryptocurrencies with a few easy taps.
When Circle Invest launched, it had a straightforward mix of features appealing to cryptocurrency users of all experience levels. Users could download the Circle Invest app, sign up, and immediately purchase cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, and Litecoin with just a few taps.
Over time, the company has added more coins to its app, making it easier for users to purchase a larger number of cryptocurrencies to diversify their portfolio.
Today, to make things even easier for users, Circle introduced a feature called “buy the market”. With a single tap of the “buy the market” button, you can purchase all the coins on Circle Invest. The coins are weighted based on their market capitalization. If you buy the market today, for example, then your purchase will consist of roughly 55% bitcoin, followed by ETH, XRP, BCH, and other cryptocurrencies.
The feature is already being used by 30% of Circle Invest users. Typically, the users using this feature are expected to be novice cryptocurrency users. They might not understand the difference between BTC and BCH, for example, but they simply want a diversified chunk of the crypto market as a whole.
Circle Invest’s feature will feel similar to Coinbase users. Earlier this year, Coinbase introduced “bundles” to its exchange. With bundles, Coinbase now lets you purchase all coins listed on Coinbase with just a few taps. Of course, Coinbase is famously selective with its cryptocurrencies, so you’re only buying 5 or 6 coins a time. Nevertheless, it’s an easy way for users to diversify with a few taps.
You can access Circle Invest’s collections feature starting today. There are three packages available, including Platforms, Payments, and Privacy. Each category has coins corresponding to its type – including payment-focused coins, privacy-focused coins, and platform-specific coins.
If you purchase the Payments collection, for example, you’ll buy bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Stellar, and Litecoin, with shares of each token weighted by market cap.
Ultimately, diversification is important whether you’re investing in traditional markets or in cryptocurrencies. Thanks to Circle Invest’s new collections feature, it’s easier than ever to buy a bundle of cryptocurrencies to diversify your portfolio.
