Coinbase Launches New Real-Time Price Alerts For Its Application

Coinbase has just introduced a new real-time price alert for any cryptocurrency supported by Coinbase. The new feature is currently available on its Coinbase mobile application. The information was released by Coinbase a few hours ago on its official blog.

With this new feature, users will be able to know when the market moves at any time without having to check websites or applications. At the same time, the in-app news section and the information asset pages will make t easier for users to find the latest information about virtual currencies.

In general, for users to track the price of virtual currencies they had to check different websites or applications. This is something that makes things difficult for investors or not convenient for enthusiasts. Thus, it might be difficult to decide when to buy or when to sell.

The new application will be sending price alerts for different virtual currencies on the Watchlist. When the price of these digital assets surges up or down, the user will receive a notification about it. Coinbase wrote about it:

“Once enabled, you’ll receive price alerts for any cryptocurrencies on your Watchlist. Consumers can opt into alerts for certain assets, and when the prices of those assets shift substantially up or down, you’ll receive an alert informing you of the percentage change.”

The main intention is to help customers have the information they want in order to make more informed decisions about virtual currencies. The intention is to also expand the price alerts to include other assets that are not tradable on the platform.
