According to the blog post, Coinbase Pro’s new features will help deliver customers with a smoother, hassle-free browsing experience. To further elaborate on this point, we can see that some of the major updates that have been implemented via this latest update include ‘a new crypto address protocol’ that will serve as an easier way to keep track of frequently used wallet addresses. Not only that, a ‘whitelisting feature’ has also been added to the UI for added functionality.

In terms of the address whitelisting feature, we can see that this module allows customers to ‘pre-select addresses’ that they know will be sending them payments. As a result of this, the likelihood of a security compromise is greatly reduced. In addition to all this, the address whitelisting feature also comes with a ‘48-hour delay’ function so that users can confirm that a person is not trying to add any illicit address to the transaction.

Lastly, this latest release comes just a few weeks after ICORating, an altcoin oriented research group, announced that Coinbase Pro had received its highest security rating (following a through audit by the firm).
