Coinbase Wallet Welcomes Dogecoin (DOGE) as the Next Available Crypto Asset

Coinbase is constantly looking to add new features and digital assets to their platform, creating a welcoming atmosphere for investors.

A new blog post reveals that the Coinbase Wallet is providing support for yet another new token – Dogecoin (DOGE).

So far, the Coinbase Wallet already supports thousands of crypto assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic, XRP, and Stellar Lumens. With the addition of DOGE, consumers can expand their holdings by even more crypto assets.

To access the wallet, users can download the app on either Android or iOS systems during the next week. To locate the DOGE wallet, the blog explains that users will only need to tap “Receive” on the main wallet tab, and then choose DOGE as the token to accept.

Along with holding DOGE tokens, the Wallet allows users and developers to access the DOGE Testnet, which users can do from the Advanced Settings section. The company is working to add support for other cryptocurrencies as well, which is shown by their addition of KIN and XYO to Coinbase Custody this week.

We know somewhere in the world DOGE President Elon Musk is shining in light of this news. Presently, Dogecoin is trading at $0.002523 after an increase of almost 1% in the last 24 hours.
