CoinHub App – RealTime Cryptocurrency Prices, Quotes & News?

CoinHub is an app that promises to provide you with detailed cryptocurrency information at your fingertips. Find out how CoinHub works today in our review.

What Is CoinHub?

CoinHub is a mobile app available for free for iOS. The app has not yet been launched onto the iTunes App Store. However, you can subscribe to the developer’s newsletter at to receive more information about the app once it launches.

The primary goal of the CoinHub app is to provide cryptocurrency quotes and news at your fingertips through a neatly-designed app.

The app was first announced in early August 2017. It’s expected to be released sometime over the next few weeks. Within two hours of its announcement, the app had reportedly already attracted over 20,000 signups. So yes, there’s a demand for a good cryptocurrency app capable of showcasing charts, news, and other coin information in an intuitive way.

CoinHub Features

The CoinHub app has not yet launched. However, the company advertises the following features on its official website:

  • “Crafted Design”: The developer of CoinHub, like most app developers, emphasizes usability. The company claims that no matter where you are, you’ll be able to pull up detailed information about any cryptocurrency with one tap.
  • Realtime News: CoinHub has a dedicated news section underneath each currency, which makes it easy to keep up with any new developments about currency you’re holding.
  • A Trending View: Whether you want up-to-the-minute trends or daily news, CoinHub promises to provide you with breakdowns by the minute, hour, and day.
  • Easy Share: Easily share screenshots of your CoinHub quote with friends or on social media.

Ultimately, all we really know about CoinHub so far comes from a series of screenshots that were posted online as part of the initial app announcement. Those screenshots make the app look very good. The screenshots feature colorfully-detailed graphs for ETH, BTC, LTC, and BCH, as well as a sleek interface that should make it easy to switch between items on the go. A selection of news articles for each app can be found at the bottom of each currency’s page. You can also view currency performance going back one day, one week, or one month.

Who Made CoinHub?

CoinHub was made by an app developer named Electic, Inc. That company lists (yes, “electic” and not “electric”) as its official website. However, the website is currently under maintenance and we can find no further information about Electic, Inc. available online.

CoinHub made headlines across the internet when it was announced earlier in August. On August 10, just two hours after announcing itself for the first time, the app had already attracted 20,000 signups.

Electic, Inc. appears to be an app developer based in San Francisco.

CoinHub Release Date

CoinHub was announced in early August 2017. The initial announcement didn’t list any specific release date. However, expect to see CoinHub debut on the iTunes App Store sometime in September 2017.

There’s no word yet on any Android release. The company’s social media channels have been quiet since the announcement in early August.

CoinHub App Conclusion

One of the most annoying things about the world of cryptocurrency is that you’re basically blind once you leave your computer. Sure, there are some mobile apps available. However, getting detailed charts, reviews, and information on your mobile device isn’t always easy, and few price tracking websites are optimized for mobile devices.

CoinHub wants to change that. We don’t know when the app will launch. However, it should be launching sometime in September 2017 for iOS.
