Coinless – CLS ICO No-Nonsense Cryptocurrency Investing Profits?
Coinless is a satirical take on today’s ICO industry. Find out everything you need to know about Coinless.io today in our review.
What Is Coinless.io?
Coinless.io is a tongue-in-cheek look at the ICO industry. The website – which claims to have undergone an ICO in July and August – describes its currency as “the best way to invest in nonsense and still make some money out of it.”
The website also features a whitepaper that appears to have been drawn by a 6 year old. That whitepaper – which is just one page – features drawings of the Amazonian rainforest, an X’s and O’s game, and zero other details.
Coinless claims to be based deep in the Amazonian rainforest of Venezuela because “we decided to come to a land where money has no value at all, and where our investment will be better used.”
Key members of the founding team include Karl Marx, Milton Friedman, and Adam Smith.
Is Coinless Real?
At first glance, you might think Coinless is a real currency. It has a well-designed website. The website certainly looks more legitimate than many of the bitcoin scams we’ve reviewed in the past.
But long before you see “Yoda” listed under the advisors section, it’s easy to see that Coinless isn’t a legitimate cryptocurrency.
However, the creator of the website has posted an Ethereum address on the official site. EtherScan shows us that the wallet for that address is currently empty, but it received a flurry of transactions over the past few months. Nevertheless, we can’t find any evidence of a real digital currency called Coinless.
Coinless Roadmap
Coinless’s development goals include buying Abercrombie clothing for Karl Marx to modernize his wardrobe (100 ETH), “throwing an epic bubble party” (1750 ETH), giving zeppelins a second try (2500 ETH), and domesticating a unicorn (5000 ETH).
Who’s Behind Coinless?
Coinless was founded by Karl Marx (Economist), Milton Friedman (Economist), and Adam Smith (Economist). Whoever created Coinless genuinely took the time to create LinkedIn profiles for each of these three famous economists. You can view Karl Marx’s LinkedIn profile here, where’s listed as the “Adviser and Founder at Coinless Cryptocurrency” in Venezuela.
Other key members of the team include Lewis Carroll, James Joyce, and Salvador Dali, while key advisors include Nagarjuna and Yoda.
Whoever created Coinless took the time to create social media profiles for the company. The website has its own Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit profiles, for example.
However, we don’t have any further information about who’s the real person behind Coinless. The site appears to have been active on the internet since July 2017.
Coinless.io Conclusion
Coinless is a satirical look at the ICO industry and digital currencies. Someone has put a surprising amount of time into the website, including taking the time to Photoshop Yoda in a suit, putting pixelated sunglasses on famous economists, and creating numerous social media profiles.
