Conio Bitcoin Wallet Gets $3 Million in Funds, Evaluated at $40M USD

Conio is an Italian cryptocurrency and blockchain service that has done something quite impressive at a Series A2 round valued at $40M USD. At the valuation. The platform raised $3M.

The platform founded in 2015 has grown to be a large startup that has developed a mobile application as well. The application, called Conio Bitcoin Wallet, allows users to sell, hold, purchase, and receive coins directly on their mobile device.

Aside from the application, the platform offers digital wallets in two versions – a white and a private label. These versions are available to both companies and financial institutions. The platform’s provides these groups with integrated solutions for digital asset management, digital wallets, crypto holding management, and the integration of blockchain protocols.

As for the funding, Christian Micolli, Conio’s co-founder and business development director stated that the new capital will further the development of the company’s services. In addition, it will provide support for retail and corporate clients for blockchain protocols and asset management.

Conio will also be able to enhance its research and development activities and it will be able to support growth strategies in digital asset markets. According to Di Nicola, the co-founder and technology director, “In each of these markets, we are striving to be able to meet the growing demand of partnerships that we are getting from banks and insurance companies, enterprises and institutions.”
