ConsenSys Blockchain Product Creator Has 3 of The Most Utilized ETH dApps: MetaMask, Infura and Truffle

ConsenSys Has Made 3 Of The Most Utilized Ethereum Products

ConsenSys is a venture production studio centered on constructing and scaling tools, disruptive startups, and enterprise software products powered by decentralized technology, especially Ethereum. Their aim is to utilize these solutions to power the emerging economic, social, and political operating systems of the planet. It was formed in 2015 and has since grown to over 1100 employees distributed globally.

Their projects address every part of the Ethereum ecosystem, including crucial infrastructure projects, developer tools, core integration components, services, B2C dApps, enterprise solutions, and many more platforms and applications. They have a strong education arm-training developers and educating the ecosystem, a Social Impact group accelerating humanitarian efforts, and a media platform publishing news and thought pieces about the ecosystem.

Seeing the entity’s focus on Ethereum, it is no surprise that they have developed three of the most used Ethereum apps, namely, Truffle, Infura & MetaMask. Not only that, they have reached major milestones too. To highlight this, ConsenSys founder Joseph Lubin presented these platforms at the recently held DevCon hosted in Prague, Czech Republic.

MetaMask just introduced their mobile client that boasts a dApp marketplace that permits users to readily obtain freshly designed dApps launched on top of the Ethereum network. Infura which is the biggest Ethereum node infrastructure developer exceeded 10 billion requests by executing transactions and smart contract requests for dApps such as MetaMask.

The cloud computing network of Microsoft, Azure partnered with Truffle soon after they reached a million downloads. They will together work on developing Microsoft’s enclave enabled Ethereum Virtual Machine. It is a project that uses safe hardware present in mobile phones to securely transmit information to the desired blockchain.

Truffle CEO Tim Coulter said:

“At Truffle we’re excited because the eEVM provides a strong base for future platforms and tools in the enterprise space — tools we’d love to help develop. Microsoft’s strong stance toward interoperability makes this an easy win, and helps make enterprise blockchain developers’ lives easier in the process.”

Just last week, Amanda Gutterman, the CMO for ConsenSys, announced that her firm has issued its latest grant offering. The program can be availed of by any startup working within the ETH dev-space. The rewards are rumored to be around the $500K and will be given out to projects that will focus on certain aspects of the burgeoning blockchain industry, such as Infrastructure, Usability, and Interoperability.
