Advertisements in sporting events have become a norm for various cryptocurrency companies to boost the adoption rates of the digital assets.
Last year ended with Litecoin (LTC) making one of the biggest advert moves in the space as they featured on UFC 253 center ring. The latest top cryptocurrency company to advertise in a major sporting event is Bitcoin SV, which will get a spot on the massive online role-playing game [MMORPG], Dota 2.
The tweet by Hivr, a Thailand based social wallet, and tipping platform read that BSV had been added on the sponsors’ list as the event commands a large following in the country. This is set to garner BSV more adoptees as the event is watched by millions of people across the world.
Launched in October 2018 as a Bitcoin Cash powered messaging service for Android devices, Hivr has grown into a globally recognized brand and is set to increase its adoption levels.
Dota 2 opens up new possibilities to millions of viewers who watch and participate in the worldwide e-sports event. The International is expected to increase the exposure of Hivr and Bitcoin SV to its wide viewer base.
Ayre further commented that he would be in Thailand to support the Dota 2 event as one of the main sponsors writing on his social media account,
“Very cool. I am in Bangkok now also…I have a place here also.”
