Credit Card Provider VISA and Bahrain Fintech Bay Partner After Central Bank’s Blockchain Sandbox Launch
Visa, which is a global payment and service provider, has just gotten into a partnership with Bahrain Fintech Bay.
All this to support the development and the cutting edge of the financial technology within the Middle East nation, this is according to Tahawul Tech.
What the partnership is set to bring
With the partnership, the main focus for the companies is the development of a joint innovation together with education initiatives, having the main focus on the payments made.
All this should be taken into account the latest discussions that were done on payments, financial risk, e-commerce, and security. And from here we should be able to see a spillover, as the Bahrain Fintech Bay has become a very active participant on the platform for Fintech Consortium.
Dylan Kaloo, who is the Country manager of Visa in Bahrain, went on to point out that the partnership will be able to bring about new payment experiences to individuals in a much scalable and secure way.
“As Bahrain and the region’s FinTech ecosystem continues to develop coupled with Bahrain FinTech Bay’s deepening connections to global centers of fintech innovation, the partnership with Visa will be instrumental in furthering this development.” According to Bahrain FinTech Bay CEO Khalid Saad.
