Credit Dream is a blockchain technology company that aims to provide users with universal access to credit. Find out how Credit Dream works today in our review.
What is Credit Dream?
Blockchain technology has changed the way we process payments and communicate across the internet. Now, thanks to Credit Dream, blockchain technology could change the way we access credit. The goal of Credit Dream is to create blockchain-based decentralized applications that provide universal access to credit. To do that, the company is creating proprietary technology that connects investors and borrowers.
The benefits of Credit Dream are easy to spot: by avoiding conventional lending solutions, investors and borrowers can enjoy lower rates and higher returns.
Right now, Credit Dream consists of two core parts:
Meu Credito App: The mobile app to find loans. This app is catered towards the Brazilian market.
Swapy: The exchange where investors buy and sell securities related to the performance of the loans.
Credit Dream has attracted the attention of several investors thus far, including Draper Associates, Investar Financial, and Huiyin Blockchain Venture.
The company is led by Edmilson Rodrigues (CEO) and Tulio Braga (CTO). Credit Dream is based in San Mateo, California.
How Does the Meu Credito App Work?
The Meu Credito App will provide personal loans online at low interest rates. It’s the first part of the Credit Dream system. Right now, the Meu Credito app’s official website is written in Portuguese, and the platform appears to be catered only to the Brazilian market at the moment. At that site, you can sign up for a waiting list to learn more about the app when it’s ultimately released.
After downloading the Meu Credito app, you enter your personal loan information and run a scan. you can compare rates and different market options.
Overall, the Meu Credito app promises to be the best and cheapest lending option on the market.
Whether you’re borrowing money or lending money, it’s all done through the app. The app’s straightforward interface lets you track in-app payments. You can check which instalments have been paid or ask questions through the chat.
Meu Credito was developed by a Brazilian company called “Meu Sonho Educação e Tecnologia” (which translates to My Dream Education and Technology in English). They’re headquartered in Recife and specialize in developing software to provide credit solutions. However, the Meu Credito app is listed as one of the official Credit Dream products online, so Credit Dream is linked to the app in some way.
How Does Swapy Work?
Swapy is a global exchange for debt securities registered in the blockchain. It’s the second part of the Credit Dream system. Swapy is the exchange where investors buy and sell securities related to the performance of the loans.
Basically, Swapy lets you invest globally in debt securities created by credit companies around the world. Swapy describes itself as “a global marketplace to democratize the access to credit”.
The Swapy platform relies on the blockchain. Because of the blockchain, Swapy is able to offer world class security. Additionally, all securities are issued by accredited financial institutions in full compliance with each country’s regulations. Swapy also has a “Know Your Customers” practice to prevent money laundering.
Swapy has not yet been released. The company wants to finalize their security system before they begin operations. The official website currently says that “We are only going to start operations when we conduct a complete legal risks analysis to operate in full compliance with each country’s regulations.”
The Meu Credito app was developed by a Brazilian company, but Swapy is an official product created by Credit Dream. However, it appears the Brazilian company is linked to Credit Dream in some way (it’s listed as one of the company’s products on the Crunchbase profile).
