Crypto Mining Company Bitmain Launches Their New Antminer T17 with 7nm ASIC Chip

Chinese mining equipment makers, Bitmain has officially launched their brand new mining equipment named Antminer T17 which offers the maximum hash rate of 40 TH/s.

According to the announcement, the entry model from the 17 series with a hash rate of 40 TH/s. It uses an entirely new design to improve the miner’s stability and performance while also effectively preventing dust, similar to the S17 Pro and S17. It boasts of power efficiency of 55 J/TH and is equipped with the new generation chip that offers deeper improvements on power efficiency, generating more income for miners.

Notably, the new equipment uses dual tube heat dissipation technology to subdue wind resistance. The area between the air channel to the air vent has been diminished by almost half, gaining heat emission which improves the long-term operation of the miner and decreases maintenance costs for users.

The size of the Antminer T17 is just a little more of the series S15 and identical to the last S17 and S17 Pro. The ASIC, in fact, measure respectively 298.2 x 178.0 x 296.6 mm, for a weight of around 9.5 KG. The device is selling at a price of 1270 Dollars, a figure well below the S17 and S17 Pro, sold for over 2000 Dollars. The power supply is already included.
