Robin Hood and Robinhood
The promotion is a partnership between the Robin Hood movie, made by Lionsgate and the Robinhood app, which, in case you didn't know, does not has anything to do with the movie. Instead, the app is a popular trading app for cryptos aimed at younger investors. Recently, it was valued at $5.6 billion USD.
The Lionsgate Executive Vice President of Worldwide Digital Marketing Danielle Depalma and Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships and Promotions Paula Kupfer have released a joint statement to the media telling that they are thrilled to use this partnership to promote the movie and engage Robin Hood fans.
In the new Robin Hood movie, Robin of Loxley, which will be played by Taron Egerton, will be on a crusade to lead a revolt against the English crown for corruption. The movie will hit the theaters on November 21.
