So who exactly is this guy? Let’s take a closer look at Ian King’s experience – and why he believes he can turn anyone into a millionaire.

Who is Ian King?

Ian King is a cryptocurrency traders and entrepreneur currently working at Banyan Hill Publishing as a Contributing Editor. King joined Banyan Hill in January 2018.

Prior to joining Banyan Hill, King was best known for founding Intellicoins.com, a bitcoin analysis website launched in 2014 to help people buy bitcoins. King would also launch a now-inactive currency called Intellicoin (INT) using that website. Launched in 2014, the currency once had a market cap of $21,000 USD. Today, the currency has a market cap of $290.

Before the Intellicoin project, King spent 10 years as head trader of Peahi Capital, a New York City-based equity fund. He started his career as a desk clerk on the Mortgage Bond trading desk at Salomon Brothers and later worked in credit derivative origination at Citigroup. King holds a BS in Psychology from Lafayette College.

It’s unclear how King gets the title as “the world’s top cryptocurrency expert.” He launched a cryptocurrency analysis website and his own (now defunct) cryptocurrency. We assume he’s made money from cryptocurrency by buying in early – but King never explains if he’s beat the market, nor does he provide many stats about his trading history.

Overall, it’s a bold move to call someone America’s top cryptocurrency investor. It’s an even bolder move to call someone the world’s top cryptocurrency investor. It’s unclear how Ian King has earned either title.

We’ve noticed a trend where high-priced crypto newsletters come with unusually harsh refund policies. Crypto Profit Trader doesn’t do a great job of explaining its refund policy upfront. Everything we know about the policy comes from this one sentence:

“All sales are final and come with our 100% satisfaction guarantee…Anyone who joins…Crypto Profit Trader will see our model portfolio give them the chance to turn $1,000 into $25,000 in the next year.”

These sentences seem to contradict one another. “All sales are final” typically means no refunds are given. However, the “100% satisfaction guarantee” means users can receive a refund if they’re not 100% satisfied. In any case, I wouldn’t expect to receive any type of refund if you regret your $2500 purchase.

In fact, the only real “refund” they give to users is a free second year. If you’re unsatisfied with the program, then you’ll receive a second year free of charge. Yes, your reward for being unsatisfied with the program is receiving a second year of a subscription you didn’t enjoy.

Crypto Profit Summit was published online by Banyan Hill Publishing, found online at BanyanHill.com. The company consists of “a network of global experts in asset protection, investing and entrepreneurship.” These experts have banded together to help teach Americans how to achieve “total wealth” or financial freedom.

The company gets its name from the banyan tree, which is the largest tree in the world by canopy size.

Crypto Profit Summit Conclusion

Crypto Profit Summit is an online video designed to push you into paying $2500 for a subscription to Crypto Profit Trader, a monthly email crypto analysis newsletter run by a guy who calls himself America’s #1 cryptocurrency trader.

The newsletter is accompanied with sleazy online marketing tactics – like promises of easy 1,000% returns, discussions of earning $500,000, and even a fake countdown timer on the sales page. There’s also the fact that we know very little information about the “expert”, Ian King’s, crypto investment experience.

There’s also the problematic refund policy: Ian King and his team appear to refuse all refund requests, and the company claims to have no refund policy. All sales are final – which is ridiculous for a $2500 subscription-based program.

For all of these reasons, it’s hard to recommend subscribing to Crypto Profit Trader or Crypto Profit Summit at a price of $2500.
