Crypto Thought Leader Anthony Pompliano: Bitcoin Could be a Life-Changing Christmas Gift

Christmas is arriving and people do not know what to buy for their beloved ones or close friends. Indeed, buying gifts could be a stressful situation for most of the people. However, gifting Bitcoin (BTC) could be one of the best gifs ever.

According to Anthony Pompliano, founder and partner at Morgan Creek Digital wrote a Tweet in which he recommends parents to purchase Bitcoin for their kids and explain why it is so important for their future.

Bitcoin could clearly be a life-changing gift for kids thinking in the long term. There are several experts that believe that Bitcoin can reach much higher prices than what it is currently worth. However, kids might not understand very well what Bitcoin is all about or how to deal with a gift that does not look like a video-game console, a new smartphone or any other toy.

Indeed, the Twitter user Polina Marinova answered him with some questions that kids might ask their parents. She then said that Pompliano is going to make a lot of kids cry during Christmas.

Pompliano did not take long to answer saying that giving Bitcoin for kids will make them free in the future, which other toys or gifts would not be able to do it.

During the last Christmas, several investors and crypto enthusiasts were promoting Bitcoin and virtual currencies as gifts for kids and other friends. However, during this year, Bitcoin did not have a good performance in terms of price action.

Nevertheless, Anthony Pompliano shows that media is ignoring many other facts that make Bitcoin special. He said that it is better to catch criminals than the US dollar, it was the best performing asset in the last ten years and there were two times more wallets created in 2018 than all the previous years combined.

As mentioned before, there are some analysts in the market that believe that Bitcoin will reach new price levels in the future. Some of them are John McAfee, Thomas Lee or Tim Draper. All of them remain bullish for Bitcoin in the next few years.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is being traded around $4,040 and it has a market capitalization of $70.31 billion. Back in December 2017, Bitcoin reached its highest price ever when it touched $20,000. Since that moment the market is in a bear rend that might not be finished yet.
