Crypto Trader Host Ran NeuNer No Longer Believes in Bitcoin’s Price will be $50,000 This Year
Ran NeuNer hosts the CryptoTrader show on CNBC, and Richtopia considers him to be the 28th most influential insider for blockchain. On February 1st, he had tweeted a prediction that Bitcoin would reach the end of 2018 at a $50,000 value per coin. He pinned the tweet, keeping it at the top of his profile. However, in new pinned tweet, NeuNer seems to be changing his tune.
For the record , I am pinning this tweet. Bitcoin will not finish 2018 at $50 000.😂 https://t.co/CAZUABJ1Hk

A new post on November 1st says, “For the record, I am pinning this tweet. Bitcoin will not finish 2018 at $50 000.” He added a link to the former tweet, and the comments rolled in from others that had made similar predictions and even told him that he should have known better. In response to the comments, the host said that much of his change of heart was based on the way that the market has changed since his prediction. He responded, “Given we are in a bear market and no good news is moving the market, I can’t see a $50k BTC this year.”
NeuNer was then asked by CoinTelegraph if there was an alternative prediction instead, rather than just withdrawing the former one. However, he offered a blunt response – “Nope. [T]oo complicated.”
On the 10th birthday of Bitcoin’s whitepaper, the market has seen some stabilization, despite some recent losses. Bitcoin has been keeping a steady $6,400 to $6,500 price tag, even though they experienced a mild drop this week.
Right now, Bitcoin is trading at $6,371.66, having increased by 0.74% in the last 24 hours. The current market cap is $110,574,795,221.
