Cryptocurrency Market Sees Bullish Wave, Causing Binance Exchange UI Technical Problems

Cryptocurrency is off to a good start this month, as reports show the capitalization of the market near the $150 billion price point. The Binance Coin was a part of this parade, looking on as Bitcoin’s resistance levels kept being surpassed. Unfortunately, the Binance exchange did not have the best luck at this time, as a technical issue took down the UI, keeping users from logging in.

On Reddit, the Binance community was extremely unhappy about these circumstances, even calling it a “crappy app” after attempting to log in seven times.

Ever the voice of reason, CEO Changpeng Zhao of Binance took to Twitter to discuss the situation in an effort to bring the community into the loop. He commented that there were “scaling issues” with the server, which only impacted “some” of the users. However, he added that the API scalability should not be a concern.

One of the reasons that some people believe that the UI crashed was due to a flash hike. This trouble could have inhibited how well the network was capable of handling the new traffic. Unfortunately, while there were a few understanding users, receiving responses that urged CZ to fix the problems on their exchange. Others reported that the app still has not been fixed.
