CryptoFinancing is a cryptocurrency event taking place in London on July 7, 2017. Find out whether or not the event is worth attending today in our review.
What is CryptoFinancing?
CryptoFinancing is the UK’s first conference dedicated to teaching attendees about initial coin offerings, token sales, and crowdfunding in the blockchain community.
Last year, over £200 million was raised through ICOs. Venture capital firms recognize the massive profit potential and high liquidity of ICOs, but they’re wary about controls and regulatory issues. Many people understand there’s enormous potential in ICOs – but they don’t know enough to get involved.
With that in mind, CryptoFinancing will teach guests everything they need to know about the world of blockchain crowdsales.
The event will take place over “one day of intense learning” on July 7, 2017. You can learn more about the event today by visiting Crypto-Financing.com.
The event is taking place at London’s Grange Tower Bridge Hotel.
CryptoFinancing will host speakers from across the blockchain industry. The company claims that more speakers are being added to the event regularly. Right now, the website mentions about 20 speakers scheduled to work the conference.
Some of the notable speakers include:
- Ryan Zurrer: General Partner, Polychain Capital
- John Clippinger, Ph.D: Research scientist, MIT Media Lan, CEO, ID3, Distinguished Fellow, IFTF
- Michael Terpin: CEO of Transform Group, BitAngels, Coinovate
- Vinay Gupta: Founder of Hexayurt Capital and Internet of Agreements
- Christina Frankopan: CEO of Protozoa, Advisor to Firestartr, RSA Fellow.
- Diana Biggs: CEO of Proof of Purpose

Why Should You Attend?
CryptoFinancing is designed as a crash course in the world of blockchain-based financing. To persuade you to attend, the CryptoFinancing website tells you stories about a startup that raised $8.2 million dollars in less than 20 minutes without giving up any equity (Golem Project). The website mentions a number of other success stories – like Ethereum and DECENT.
Obviously, ICOs have changed the way startups handle VC funding. Today, many startup owners and entrepreneurs don’t understand how ICOs work – or whether or not they’re the right choice for their business. It’s the Wild West of VC funding.
