CryptoTip.org Project For Bitcoin Cash And Dash Launches By Free Keene In New Hampshire
The state of New Hampshire has long been known for its freedom while promoting activism, White Forest Mountain, the recent increase in cryptocurrency adoption in the state and lastly the statesmen and women love to tip! However, states such as New Hampshire dislike tipping using fiat cash preferring cryptocurrencies and other tokens to tip. This is a slow and cumbersome process with waiters being busy to accept direct tipping using cryptocurrency wallets.
The tipping nature of the people of New Hampshire combined with the increasing interest in cryptocurrencies has pushed the Free Keene Activists to launch a tip- card creator called Cryptotip.org. The state has witnessed an increase in digital currency accepting establishments & Bitcoin ATMs. This recent FOMO in digital assets in the state is what pushed the activist movement to create cryptocurrency tips using Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Dash (DASH) to make the time consuming crypto tipping service easier.
The idea started when Ian Freeman, the host of the Free Talk Live, decided to build a new website on the open source Bctip.org website. After being turned down by Bctip.org founder on the proposal to add other cryptocurrencies to the site, Freeman partnered with Ringing Liberty member, Michael Hampton to create the Cryptotip.org application from scratch to allow BCH and DASH tipping. The initiative has seen many mom-n-pop shops in New Hampshire start accepting cryptocurrencies including a dentist, Indian restaurant, hair salon, and vape shop which joined the many businesses already accepting.
Cryptotip.org Makes Getting Busy People’s Attention Easy
The new application called Cryptotip.org did a small soft launch in public beta earlier in the year with just Dash integration and now the site is live with Bitcoin Cash as the default option when creating new tips.
The tipping service makes the overall process of tipping using crypto easier and faster to the busy waiters and managers at restaurants and café’s. The user obtains cards that are printed business card-sized tips which can be redeemed by the receiver of the tips. If the tip is not redeemed, the amount is returned to the user’s address making the process trustworthy and efficient.
The platform allows users to visit the website and create a swathe of tips in fiat currency whether USD, GBP, EUR, RUB, CHF, JPY and other accepted national currencies to be converted to your desired cryptocurrency. Choose the currency to tip with and insert the address for a refund in case the tip is not redeemed.
Once done, it is advised you obtain a printed copy of the address. You can proceed to tip the waiters who will then need to visit a unique URL on their tip and they will be given instructions on how to use the cryptocurrency so they can download a wallet to redeem the funds they received.
The website gives you the option to set an expiration date which will trigger a refund in case the funds are not redeemed.
The CEO of Cryptotip.org, Ian Freeman spoke on the launch of this service praising its quick service while tipping. It comes without question that waiters are some of the busiest people and attending to your cryptocurrency tips may be a challenge. Hence with the Cryptotip, users will be able to tip waiters easily just as they would with fiat money.
Mr. Freeman said,
“Cryptotip respects your real-life prospect’s time—the people we tip in life are busy, but they all like money. A server at a restaurant probably doesn’t have time to listen to a pitch about crypto — they have tables to wait on –when you leave a Cryptotip in addition to a good cash tip, they’ll be more likely to look at it.”
The question of losing your tokens in case the tip is lost or not redeemed is out of question as the your Bitcoin Cash (BCH) or Dash (DASH) will be reversed once the expiration date is reached.
