Darknet Market Operator, Ross Ulbricht Appreciates Roger Ver’s Involvement in His Release Campaign
Darknet Market Operator, Ross Ulbricht, who is also known for running, Silk Road supposedly wrote a thank you letter directed towards, Bitcoin Cash’s Roger Ver, who has been taking part in the former’s release campaign.
As per the claims made, Ulbricht has been given two life sentences without parole for over 40 years for having created Silk Road – which is dubbed, “an online marketplace with an emphasis on user privacy.” The entirety of the website allegedly includes Bitcoin and implementing the Tor browser, where the latter gives people consent to exchange a wide range of goods (both legal and illegal). Ver has always been surprised by Ulbricht, in a good way that is, as he has called the former a genius and has been surging the market operator to be freed. Here’s what Ulbricht has since shared:
“If the president released me beforehand then I could crash the party and tell everyone prison stories and all my thoughts on the criminal justice reform there’s a lot to discuss prison doesn’t get easier but I am keeping my chin up with friends like you out there I feel it is just a matter of time before this nightmare is behind me.”
Ver was also quoted expressing his opinions in relation to one’s freedom. In particular, he said that if people have the right to drink, then they should be allowed to do whatever – without having politicians making decisions. If people are given the choice to do something, then it should apply for anything is where he was getting at.
