David Schwartz Criticizes Calvin Ayre’s ‘Craig Is Satoshi’ Premise, Ripple Vs BSV Showdown Brewing?
David Schwartz Criticizes Calvin Ayre's ‘Craig Is Satoshi’ Premise.
The Craig Wright is Satoshi debate isn't a new one. Although it has sparked different opinions with Craig's only staunch supporter being Calvin Ayre. The Debate which had died down a bit was brought back to life by Ryan Charles, the CEO of Money Button, who believes that Craig is indeed Satoshi. However, in a twist, Ayre’s opinion of Craig's identity was criticized by David Schwartz, Ripple’s CTO. Who believes Ayre is blowing things out of proportion.
While on one hand, Ryan Charles had uploaded a video on his YouTube channel explaining that with all the qualities Craig possesses, he is most likely to be Satoshi. A contrary opinion has been made known by David Schwartz who opposed Ayre’ view that Craig was obviously Satoshi due to legal notice by the Court. The US District Court of the Southern District of Florida had issued an order to Craig demanding that he provided evidence of ownership over some Bitcoin address.
In response to the court order which was issued on the 3rd of May, Calvin Ayre made a tweet quoting the court's decision stating that it is pretty clear that the judge accents that #craigissatoshi. In response to this, Schwartz who had to remain silent on the whole Craig is Satoshi debate, criticized Ayre for twisting the words of the judge. He stated that the judge wouldn't be asking Craig to submit evidence that he was Satoshi if indeed he believed in him. A lot of people shared similar ideas with Schwartz over Ayre's statement and wonder how he might have come to such a conclusion.
However, Ayre is not the only supporter of Craig as Ryan Charles also believes that he is Satoshi. He also said that he believed Craig is Satoshi based on evidence found and his personal interactions with Craig online.
Charles supports he believe saying,
“He has explained many things that no one had any explanation for. I’m very convinced that he (Wright) is Satoshi Nakamoto.”
