Decentralized Twitter Community Poll Elects Elon Musk as Dogecoin CEO, to Become Fav Cryptocurrency
The famous billionaire Elon Musk has recently talked about cryptocurrencies. According to him, his favorite one is Dogecoin (DOGE). Unlike Jack Dorsey, the creator and CEO of Twitter, the CEO of Tesla did not choose Bitcoin.
Despite not being his favorite choice, Elon Musk has indeed talked about Bitcoin recently and he affirmed that BTC was brilliant and that paper money would eventually disappear.
Musk has declined and ignored the BTC Lightning Torch project for a while now despite the insistence of the BTC community, but it seems that it was Dogecoin, during its April Fools’ poll, that was able to call out his attention. Musk affirmed that Dogecoin was his favorite crypto then.
The declaration of love for Dogecoin has inspired the DOGE community to make a lot of memes regarding his answer, most of them including dog pictures.

Dogecoin was initially created as a joke, but it rose double digits yesterday, possibly because of Elon Musk’s response, but it is hard to actually say for sure.
Dogecoin Is Looking For a CEO, Could It Be Musk?
Dogecoin was initially created as a joke in 2013 using a Shiba Inu dog as a mascot. However, the digital currency actually got very famous with time. It was created by Jack Palmer, but he is no longer associated with the token.
During the April Fools joke, the team affirmed that they are currently looking for a new CEO that could lead the company in maintaining its values and move forward.
Obviously, since Elon Musk responded to the tweet saying how much he loved Dogecoin, some people in the industry may be prone to believe that he would be the ideal candidate for a new CEO. However, the CEO of Tesla is very busy with his own companies, so that is probably too much to ask.
