Deribit to Drop ‘Deribit Insights’ as a New Weekly Crypto Research Publication

Deribit, a crypto futures and options trading platform based in the Netherlands, has recently started a new initiative: Deribit Insights. The project will consist of a weekly report that will offer insights on the crypto market.

According to the official press release, Deribit will launch the publication this week. Deribit Insights is set to provide in-depth analyses of the crypto market and to be tailored for both novices and expert traders. The main idea is to review crypto events, explore how the industry is advancing and give the investors a wider view of the market.

The first publication is focused on how the liquidation mechanisms of crypto derivatives platforms work. Another feature is the recent flash crash that happened on Bitstamp and started several liquidations.

Deribit’s CEO John Jansen affirmed that several traders have shown to be afraid of the crypto derivatives market before. The publication is set, partially, as a response to these fears.

He believes that the benefits of the crypto derivatives market far outweigh its problems. With more liquidity, as it is happening now, the market is set to become even more interesting for the financial world, so people have to be well-informed.

Deribit is a fairly important platform, so its reports are certainly going to be read by a lot of people. The exchange, which was launched back in 2016, was one of the first platforms to offer crypto futures and options and it has a volume of $500 million USD per day.
