DEXTF Secures $460,000 in Funding with SGInnovate And Lunex Partnership
According to the Business Times, Decentralized Traded Funds (DEXTF) closed the funding round after collecting $460,000. This funding round was led by SGInnovate and LuneX Ventures, a blockchain firm of Singapore based Golden Gate Ventures, with the partnership with the hedge fund CDAM based in London and other private investors who remain undisclosed.
“Although many people view the current investment infrastructure as being inadequate for fund managers and investors, investment in digital assets remains a market of interest,”
said Heng Soon Pang, the venture building head at SGInnovate.
“The DEXTF protocol will leverage the blockchain technology industry by addressing the shortcomings in the traditional industry and democratizing digital asset management in a scalable and secure manner. We are glad to partner with the DEXTF seed funding round. The partnership will help in scaling DEXTF’s platform globally,”
Pang noted.
The Latest Era in FX and Fintech launched at the London Summit 2019. This Fintech startup based in Singapore will connect asset managers and investors, thereby eliminating the necessity of expensive intermediaries. Investors will also enjoy the delegation of investment decision services with no need for transferring ownership of the assets.
With those services leveraging the blockchain technology, demand for Decentralized Traded Funds since the funding round was oversubscribed. The company is investing in integrating blockchain technology with an arbitrage mechanism that will facilitate another layer of security for transparency and accountability.
“We are in the process of building an asset management paradigm that will aid traditional asset managers to invest in new asset classes and reduce costs. The management paradigm will also significantly democratize the allocation of resources and lower entry barriers, enabling a new generation of digital managers to thrive.”
“With massive ETFs and passive investments, the traditional asset management industry has experienced significant change. Diversion into low-interest rates environments, search for yields, and the high cost of Legacy Infrastructure that has multiple Intermediary Layers has also contributed to the change,”
said Mario Aquino, the President, and Co-founder at Decentralized Traded Funds.
