Is Jamie Dimon, A Well-Known Bitcoin Hater, Floating a Presidential Run?

The CEO of JPMorgan, Jamie Dimon, affirms that he is not running for president that he could easily defeat the current U. S. President Donald Trump if he wanted to. According to the Wall Street icon, he “could beat Trump” because he is “as tough as he is” and “smarter than he is”.

He has also added a provocation stating that he is wealthy and that he actually earned his money instead of receiving a “gift from daddy”. While Jamie Dimon is known for being full of bravado and has already withdrawn some of his claims before, he is highly suspicious of trying to run for president, some people believe.

Dimon stated that he is not running and that he would not be a good politician as he gets frustrated because he wants all the sides to come together and simply work jointly to solve big problems.

Trump Not Amused

Trump, obviously, was not very happy with Dimon. He claimed that he could beat him in a general election and that the banker does not have the aptitude or intelligence to win. Trump also called Dimon a “nervous mess” when speaking in public but otherwise he is “wonderful”.

Curiously, Dimon was a member of the strategy and policy group of Trump before disbanding and has praised his tax cuts when the president signed the law in 2017.

Not A Fan Of Cryptos

While a Dimon run would be praised among Wall Street investors, the same cannot be said for crypto enthusiasts and traders. More than once Dimon has expressed opinions that Bitcoin is not a good asset and that people should not invest in it. He has been one of the biggest critics of the token ever since the beginning.

He already called bitcoin a fraud and crypto investors “stupid”. While he has affirmed that he now regrets some of these aggressive comments, he remains uninterested in Bitcoin.
