The Distributed 2018 event presents an important opportunity to go beyond industry and international borders. It will gather technologists from around the world, who will be able to share ideas, create partnerships, and eventually drive change with the blockchain.
What Is Distributed?
Distributed was created in 2015 as a subsidiary of BTC Media. This was the first dedicated media group for digital coins and the blockchain. Throughout early skepticism on crypto, to the crypto boom of 2017, to the enterprise adoption of DTL, BTC Media has been there. Together with its parent company BTC Inc, the company has worked hard to remain ahead of this digital revolution. Insights and education are often offered via its various outlets such as Distributed, yBitcoin, Let’s Talk Bitcoin, and Bitcoin Magazine.

Distributed 2018 July 19-20 Event
The event will take place on 2018 July 19-20. It will be held at the Westin St. Francis hotel in San Francisco. The choice to use San Francisco was deliberate. It is long known to be the tech capital of the US. Most major tech companies have their headquarters in the city, which gives them easy access to Silicon valet venture capital companies. The Westin St. Francis hotel is also quite historic. This hotel is one of the city’s landmarks with quite a rich past. The creators of this project are quite happy that this event will be held at this venue.
