ehealth first

eHealth First is a health platform built on the blockchain. Find out how it works today in our eHealth First review.

What Is eHealth First?

eHealth First, found online at eHFirst.io, is an IT platform for personalized health and longevity management. It’s built on the blockchain and uses artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing.

eHealth First sees itself as the solution for today’s huge healthcare problems. It aims to provide a comprehensive IT platform along with two health-related web and mobile apps.

What Problems Does eHealth First Seek to Solve?

Basically, eHealth First wants to solve the biggest problems in the healthcare industry today. Patients are paying too much for too little. There are inefficiencies throughout the healthcare system, and eHealth First believes it can use blockchain to alleviate those inefficiencies. Some of the specific identified problems include:

  • Information asymmetry, as different clinics have different information about the same patient
  • Medical record continuity
  • Access to medical records
  • Queues and waiting times
  • High costs
  • Difficulty assessing the skill and knowledge of health professionals

How Does eHealth First Work?

Obviously, the problems listed above are some of the biggest and most important problems in the health care industry today. How does eHealth First plan to solve these problems?

eHealth First is creating a blockchain platform that will support decision-making in health management, longevity, diagnostics, disease prevention and treatment, and more. That platform will use natural language analysis, machine learning, neural networks, big data, telemedicine, clinical epidemiology, and evidence-based medicine. That’s a lot of buzzwords – so how does eHealth First specifically work?

The key part of the eHealth First platform is the personal health management app called EHF Personal Health. It’s a web portal and mobile application with an integrated expert system. These experts provide advisory services through the app. The app also collects and stores user data. The entire system is built on a mixed storage of data, including centralized and decentralized information stored in the blockchain.

After you register for the EHF Personal Health app, you’ll be asked to undergo preliminary diagnostics screening. The system will then use an algorithm to formulate a list of recommendations for the user and recommend additional diagnostics, if necessary. For each specialized diagnostic module, a separate algorithm will clarify the danger of certain pathological conditions or diseases.

EHF Personal Health App Features

The EHF Personal Health app is the central part of the eHealth First ecosystem. Here are some of the core features of the app:

  • To record, collect, and store patient data in the blockchain
  • To share personal health-related information with permissioned parties, including physicians, health specialists, nutritionists, psychologists, relatives, etc.
  • To control, monitor, and evaluate health status
  • To get the most relevant personalized health-related information, including information about prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases
  • To get a second opinion about health conditions and the recommendations of health professionals
  • To plan and get telemedicine consultations on demand
  • To find optimal local hospitals, outpatient clinics, and health specialists to solve a personal health-related issue

Ultimately, EHF Personal Health aims to be a one-stop solution for all healthcare needs of patients. Users can record their health data, get recommendations, and find local clinics through a single convenient interface.

The EHF Personal Health app isn’t just for patients. Developers can also create and sell their own health-related applications through the EHF Marketplace. Meanwhile, researchers can gather patient data through the platform (with the permission of patients) to conduct studies.

Who’s Behind eHealth First?

eHealth First is being developed by a team of 17 people from 8 countries. Key members of the team include Nickolay Kryuchkov (CEO), a medical doctor with 11+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience.

Other key members of the team include Arnold Mitnitski, PhD, listed as “Advisor in Mathematical Modeling of Complex Biomedical Systems”.

The eHealth First ICO

The eHealth First platform and app will run on EHF tokens. There’s a total supply of 100,000,000 EHF tokens, with up to 2 million tokens available for sale in private placement (PP) and pre-ICO, and 85 million tokens available for sale during the ICO.

EHF tokens are ERC20 tokens built on the Ethereum blockchain. The company is accepting ETH, BTC, EUR, and USD during the token sale. They’ve set a target of 259,000 ETH for the crowdsale, with a soft cap of 8,000 ETH.

As an EHF token holder, you can use EHF tokens to pay for medical services on the eHealth First platform. You receive a 30 to 50% discount for buying any services developed in the EHF ecosystem. You can also use tokens to buy services developed under the EHF Project, including Healthy Life and Medsearch.

Alternatively, tokens can be sold (burned) at any time at 10% of the token’s ICO price (a total of 12% of funds raised during the ICO will be placed in a reserve fund for this purpose).

The pre-ICO is scheduled for February 18 to March 18, 2018. eHealth First also has a private placement program available from December 1 to February 17, 2018, during which you’ll need to purchase a minimum of 10 ETH or 0.5 BTC.
