Electroneum (ETN) Cryptocurrency Investors Look for Boost with Binance Listing Potential
Over the last couple of months, the Electroneum community has been asking the question ‘So when is ETN finally going to be listed on Binance or Bittrex?”.
In the past, being listed on Binance has been used as a yardstick to measure the financial potential of a decent crypto project. However, that standard has somewhat waned off ever since Binance started listing many shady projects on its trading interface (mostly pump and dump schemes).
Also worth noting is the fact that recently, Binance has been charging a heavy listing fee, which has effectively made it harder for tokens to get listed on the platform. With that being said, a project like ETN should not really have an issue paying the aforementioned fee— especially when considering the fact that the project was able to raise a whopping $40 Million via its Initial Coin Offering (ICO).
How Do Projects Get Listed on Binance?
Simply put, there are three key ways of getting your project listed on Binance, these include:
- The developers can pay the fee upfront for the listing.
- The project devs put in a request with the exchange and if the admins like the project, they can then list the offering for free.
- Voting for a coin to be added. However, this method could foster some security issues later down the line.
It is also worth remembering that nearly a year back, the Electroneum team had told customers that they had applied for a listing on a host of different exchanges (a list which did not include Binance). However, since the announcement, many backers have eagerly been waiting for good news in this regard.

Final Take
In order for a project to really take off, its associated token offering needs more trading pairs in the market (more visibility). However, in the case of ETN it appears as though the current bear market has really gotten a hold over the asset’s overall demand. Only time will now tell what the future has in store for Electroneum.
