Emphasis Ventures (EMVC) VC Fund Founder Finds Affinity with India’s Growing FinTech Sector
Melissa Frakman, the founder of Emphasis Ventures Capital Fund (EMVC), recently admitted the Indian fintech industry is highly addictive. She said this at an interview with YourStory, a media platform that focuses on business news.
Melissa, who comes from Canada, mentioned that the latest developments in the fintech sector are currently happening in India. She particularly highlighted the high numbers of new entrants in recent years. This increase is largely because of the availability of the internet in most parts of because, as well as its affordability. As a result, companies in the banking, insurance, payments, and investments have greatly improved the efficiency of their services.
The most significant contributor to the advancements in India’s fintech space is the National Payments Corporation of India (NCPI).
