EOS Sets a Record of Processing over 87 Million Actions in a Day, Beating Tron, Bitcoin, & Ethereum
EOS broke the record of highest actions processed by a blockchain in a day beating the top cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum and the likes of Tron which is constantly making new records.
According to the latest records, EOS claims the first spot by processing 87.2 million actions in a day. However, since then the activity today has dropped down to 20 million as per the data provided by Bloctivity. Even at this figure, the highest record has been made at just above 12 million by project TLOS.
Daniel Larimer, the CTO at Block. One, the company behind EOS shared this update with the community on Twitter.
#eos recently set a record of over 70m actions processed in one day. An average of over 810 actions per second. Our team is making great strides in further optimization and scaling. #B1JUNE

At 6th spot is another of Larimer’s project Steem that is currently processing over 1 million actions while having a record of 2.5 million.
As a way to get closer to the real value, Blocktivity observes the activity on the blockchain to determine which project is actually being used by the people.
With over 1.4 million activities processed, Tron is at the fourth spot with a record of 4.3 million. Bitcoin and Ethereum are at the 7th and 8th position with a record of 1 and 1.3 million actions respectively processed in a day.
