EOS Sets PR for Its Network Activity Outperforming Peers Such as BTC, Tron or Ethereum
EOS, one of the largest blockchain networks in the market, has registered new records. In the last few days, the digital asset has experienced a very important growth. As reported by eoswriter.io, the network has established a new record for cryptocurrency actions, surpassing Bitcoin (BTC), Tron (TRX) and also Ethereum (ETH).
EOS’ Blockchain Activity Increases
Daniel Larimer, the CTO of Block.one, the firm behind EOS, tweeted that EOS has set a record of over 70 million actions processed in one day by the network. He said that there have been 810 actions per second and that they have been optimizing scaling things.
It is possible to see that the record of operation amounts to 83,797,783 and in the last 24 hours, most of the actions came from a contract called pornhashbaby that had 6.7k actions.
Furthermore, the contract pornhashbaby was the most used contract followed by eosio.token. This could help increase the adoption of decentralized apps and virtual currencies around the world.
Justin Sun, the CEO of Tron, has also been active on social media, saying that Tron has the biggest network of active users and it outperforms EOS and Ethereum.
