EOS.io block producer candidate EOSYS just announced a new wallet called NOVA. The wallet is described as a “UX-focused multi-OS wallet for EOS holders”.
The Korean-based block producer released the wallet through its Wizard Works development division. The software wallet is available in Korean and English.
EOSYS is an EOS-focused accelerator as part of Chain Partners. The team announced the launch of the wallet on August 1.
“NOVA wallet, as we promised before the mainnet, is successfully launched today! NOVA wallet is UX-focused Multi-OS wallet for EOS token holders,” explained EOSYS in a blog post.
The company announced a beta version of NOVA last week. Now, the full version is available for release.
The wallet is available in the form of an iOS app, although an Android app, a Chrome extension, and other versions will be released in the near future. On all platforms, NOVA will be a software wallet where you can store EOS-based tokens.
NOVA Wallet Features
Some of the core features of the NOVA wallet include:
Multi-OS Wallet: NOVA is currently available for iOS, with Android, Chrome Extensions, and other versions coming soon.
Easy and Fast Token Transfers: NOVA, like all good mobile wallets, is designed to make it easy to transfer tokens quickly. You can transfer EOS-based tokens with an authentication password easily and quickly with your mobile device.
Convenient Token Listing: Users can add tokens to their app with a single tap using the “real-time token list”, which is updated constantly with the newest EOS-based tokens.
Secure and Safe Authentication: Users can recall EOS accounts easily and securely through fingerprint authentication and facial recognition.
Overall, the wallet functions in a similar way to other crypto wallet apps. You can enter a password to verify your identity, or you can setup alternative identification verifications like a fingerprint or face ID.
