Eric Lombrozo of Ciphrex Dismisses Craig Wright’s Theory of Satoshi Nakamoto to be a Psychology Play
Satoshi Nakamoto’s real identity remains a mystery to the now one decade old blockchain and digital currency community. However, the discussion around this topic is not short of names that pop up claiming to be the real developers of Bitcoin. One of these characters includes Craig Wright, the chief scientist of nchain, he claims to be the pioneer developer of digital currency. These statements have often been dismissed by other experts from the crypto industry with the most recent being Eric Lombrozo of Ciphrex.
The dismissal by Lombrozo, Ciphrex current CTO and Co-CEO, was shared via a tweet where he referred to Craig as a fraud and a narcissistic liar as well. Lombrozo expressed his dismay at Craig’s ability to manipulate a significant number of people within the crypto arena to the extent of influencing structural fundamental decisions.
It appears that Craig Wright has been on the receiving end not only from Lombrozo but other key players in the industry. Charles Hoskinson and Samson Mow are among the popular figures that have dismissed Craig Wright’s credentials. As a matter of fact, WikiLeaks released a report that can substantiate these allegations, the details revealed that Craig Wright might have been involved in forging old documents for a better reputation in the digital currency space.
Lombrozo went on to further label Craig Wright a ‘copycat’ claiming most of his ideas are not original but the work of other individuals. He noted that Craig is good with words and human psychology than he is with the fundamentals of digital currencies like Bitcoin. It therefore follows that Wright is able to manipulate crypto enthusiasts while lacking behind in contributing to open sources which support digital ledgers and coins.
The twitter attacks by Lombrozo come barely a month since Craig Wright made an announcement to take action against any form of harassment towards him. He specifically identified firms, individuals and websites as potential victims if they used any falsehood to attack his self-proclaimed ‘Nakamoto’ status. According to Lombrozo, this would however be better as it would finally resolve the dispute on whether Wright is really Satoshi Nakamoto.
