Ethereum Classic (ETC) Gets Listed on Coinbase and Binance Exchanges Same Day

Is Ethereum Classic growing in the market? If You look at what has just happened today, you might think that it is. Binance and Coinbase, two of the largest cryptocurrency companies in the world, have decided to list this token and to give support to it on their platforms.

Binance has started to trade the ETC/BNB and the ETC/USDT trading pairs on its platform. Now you can directly trade Ethereum Classic for Binance Coins (BNB) or USDT (fiat currency).

This decision happened just hours after Coinbase announced that it was also adding support to Ethereum Classic on its platform. On its announcement, which was made just some hours ago, the company stated that adding Ethereum Classic was a part of the company’s process for adding new assets to the exchange.

Ethereum Classic will be supported on most of the Coinbase products like Coinbase Custody, Coinbase Markets, Coinbase Pro, Coinbase Prime and Coinbase Asset Management. The company has also stated that the technical integration of the token all these systems would be complete in the following months. This token will be accepted in all the Coinbase regions.

What Is Ethereum Classic (ETC)?

Ethereum Classic is the result of a hard fork that the Ethereum network had in July 2016. As it is not the main Ethereum, its value is considerably lower, but it is still a remarkable cryptocurrency, which may get more popular now that it has been accepted at these exchanges.
