Ethereum Classic (ETC) Sees Nearly 50,000 Daily Transactions, Coinbase Inclusion Pending

Ethereum Classic (ETC) Reaches 48K Daily Transactions As Coinbase Listing Approaches

After Coinbase announced that it intended to list the ETC token, Ethereum Classic is having great days. Right now, the currency is seeing transaction rates being at more than 48,000 daily and there are speculations that it will reach the 100k mark soon.

The official Ethereum Classic profile on Twitter recently tweeted about and stated that it is a good sign for the future that the ETC is reaching almost 50K daily transactions.

Why Is The Number of ETC Transactions Increasing?

The transaction rates are probably higher because the price of Ethereum Classic will probably rise when it is finally listed, so more and more investors are rallying behind the token, which increases the transaction rates. This increases the transaction fees, though.

Not only the Coinbase announcement is making ETC more popular right now, as there other recent developments that should be taken into consideration while analyzing this token. The investors are also informed that the Ethereum Classic is one of the most secure tokens in the market at the moment, so this also makes it more interesting for them.

Also, the Ethereum Classic Development Team has recently announced big plans for using ETC on Internet of Things technology and they consider the smart contracts to be a key factor for this.

Other plans that the team has to include boosting the scalability of native sidechains and using ETC to create one of the most secure markets in the crypto space.
