Exodus Cryptocurrency Wallet Adds Ripple (XRP) Support along with TrueUSD Stablecoin

Exodus Wallet Introduces Support for Ripple (XRP) Users, Also Begins Auto-Updates

Ripple, while gaining a reputation for a number of reasons, like having a strong transaction speed, application by credit companies like American Express, and a number of lawsuits, hasn't really been as widely accepted as its bigger cousins Bitcoin and Ethereum.

For Exodus, at least, that's going to change, especially now that it's announced featured support for Ripple today. Along with Ripple, it's also included TrueUSD (TUSD), the cryptocurrency attached to the USD which is also used as a stablecoin for sending, receiving and exchanging.

Along with this new support given to Ripple and TrueUSD, for Mac OSX users, there's more good news, as Exodus has introduced a method of automatically updating their wallets in-app. This also includes a similar update for windows users to be added at a later date.

What this means is that users will no longer have to manually manage updates as and when they happen, instead, the system will automatically update without the user having to go out of their way to instigate it themselves.

The Release Notes for Exodus' Version 1.58.1 As Follows

Wallet Functionality

Users of the online wallet will be able to send, store and receive new cryptocurrencies such as Ripple (XRP), and TrueUSD (TUSD). In order to add either of these assets, simply visit the settings section of the wallet and select ‘assets'. Support has also been added Digibyte S-Addresses.

The Mac version of the wallet now has an automatic update feature for users. If a user of a Mac, this will be the last version you'll need to upgrade to. For all future updates, Mac users will get a one click notification window. Currently the Windows version is undergoing continued development for later release.

Both Ripple (XRP) and TrueUSD (TUSD) have been added to the existing exchange, with users able to complete transactions with and for either of these new assets.

Exodus also allows for 0 ETH transactions to be instigated and completed for any desired smart contract operations users may want to apply.
