What is the Fedcoin Survival Kit?
The Fedcoin Survival Kit is a kit of eBooks that recently appeared online at CaseyResearch.com. That survival kit promises to teach you everything you need to know about preparing for – and surviving – the rise of Fedcoin.
Fedcoin is a rumored cryptocurrency in development by the US Federal Reserve, the IMF, and the World Bank. The cryptocurrency aims to replicate the effectiveness of bitcoin – with its low transaction rates and easy international transfers – but in a more government-friendly way.
Of course, there’s no actual proof that Fedcoin exists. The word “Fedcoin” first started making headlines earlier this year, when Doug Casey released a book called, “Surviving Fedcoin: How to Protect Yourself (and Profit) from America’s Coming Currency Change. That book describes how the US government will issue its own version of bitcoin because the US dollar is sinking.
The first mention of Fedcoin, however, is traced back to a blog post in October 2014, when JP Koning described how the US government would create a blockchain-based currency to work in parallel with the US dollar.
Casey’s book, Surviving Fedcoin, is included as part of the Fedcoin Survival Kit. That kit is included with your $37 USD annual subscription to The Casey Report. You subscribe to The Casey Report, then get the books sent to your email inbox for no additional charge.
What’s Included in the Fedcoin Survival Kit?
The Fedcoin Survival Kit aims to equip you with all of the information you need to prepare for the introduction of Fedcoin (if it ever happens). Casey – who successfully predicted the Dot Com Bubble and other major economic turning points – believes that Fedcoin will lead to a massive deflation in the purchasing power of your USD savings, and it will end financial privacy in America permanently.
If you’re smart, you can prepare for Fedcoin now. That’s why the Fedcoin Survival Kit wants to help. Here’s what you get, and what you’ll learn from the kit:
Surviving Fedcoin: How to Protect Yourself (and Profit) from America’s Coming Currency Change
This book consists of 152 pages. Over the 152 pages, Casey lays out a 4 step plan for surviving and prospering during the shift to Fedcoin. Specific strategies include:
- The best way to protect your money during the upcoming currency crisis
- 4 sectors to avoid investing in right now, and which stocks to dump
- How to handle cash, including whether or not you should hold any physical bills
- The best place to buy gold if you want to avoid being tracked
- How to crash proof your portfolio
- The best place to hide your money
- What you should (and should not) be stockpiling right now
- The best 3 investments you can make today
The book covers other strategies as well. Overall, the book is catered towards older Americans who have money in their savings account, investments in the stock market, and other assets that could be at risk if Fedcoin is ever introduced. By following the strategies in the book, you can protect your investments.
The Cheapest Legal Ways to Buy Gold in America Today
This report is included in your survival kit. It was written by Doug’s lead analyst, EB Tucker, who “recently found a secret (and 100% legal) loophole that lets you buy gold 87% cheaper than almost anywhere else.” The report doesn’t discuss gold bullion or ETFs – it discusses real gold bullion.
The 1,000% Secret: How to Take Advantage of the Speculation of the Century
Doug Casey’s investment strategy involves looking at sectors where you have an unfair advantage – including finding sectors where you know more than the average investor. Casey claims to have identified a sector where “the last time conditions were this good – 20 years ago – stocks in this tiny sector went up by 3,873%”.
America’s #1 Tax Loophole
Casey describes how an obscure tax law passed three years ago is the secret to paying single digit corporate taxes and avoiding taxes on dividends, interest, and capital gains.
All of these items are included in your Fedcoin Survival Kit.
Who is Doug Casey?
The value of the Fedcoin Survival Kit depends on how much you value Doug Casey’s advice. So who is Doug Casey and why should you trust him?
The official Fedcoin Survival Kit website lists Casey’s predictions over the years. He predicted the rise of gold and silver in the late 1970s, for example, and anticipated the savings and loans crisis in the 1980s. He also predicted the Dot Com Crash of the year 2000, writing that, “Almost every one of the internet stocks is a burning match…we’ll see a 95%+ meltdown among the survivors, with many disappearing totally.”
Casey also claims to have predicted the 9/11 attacks because in July 2001 he wrote about how a plane or boat could take out an entire city, and he said that “the most likely attackers are members of the Muslim community.”
Ultimately, Casey is reaching with a lot of these predictions. Casey claims to have predicted Brexit because he once wrote that, “the European Union is going to fall apart.” That’s all he wrote – and yet, somehow, that means he predicted Brexit.
Regardless, Casey is a genuine NY Times bestselling author. His 1979 book, Crisis Investing, was number one on the New York Times Non-Fiction Best Seller list in 1980 for multiple weeks. Casey’s Wikipedia page describes him as “an American writer, speculator, and the founder and chairman of Casey Research” who “describes himself as an anarcho-capitalist influenced by the works of novelist Ayn Rand.”
Today, Casey produces the Casey Report, an email newsletter. You can subscribe to that newsletter to get the Fedcoin Survival Report for free.

Fedcoin Survival Kit Conclusion
Doug Casey, creator of the Fedcoin Survival Kit, believes the US dollar is in crisis. Trillions of currency units have been printed, and near-zero interest rates have done nothing to stimulate the economy.
The US Federal Reserve, the IMF, and the World Bank are currently researching blockchain technology, and Casey believes that research will lead them to introduce Fedcoin – a US government alternative to bitcoin.
Whether the currency is called Fedcoin or something else, it’s certainly a possibility for the US government to introduce a blockchain-based currency. If you want to protect yourself and your investments, or just an alternative view of the future of our world, then Casey’s Fedcoin Survival Kit may be worth checking out.
However, Casey isn’t quite the Nostradamus that we’re led to believe. He didn’t predict 9/11 or Brexit, as the official website states – he just broadly mentioned the possibility of similar events (along with dozens of other predictions that never came true). Take the information with a grain of salt.
