Fortune, a New York-based business magazine on February 28 rated Ripple Labs, Inc. a California-based blockchain company that's in charge of the XRP altcoin, as one of the best companies to work in the bay area judging from its 91 percent employee rating as a “Great place to work,”
Ripple Gets Ranked 17 Out of 70 Companies
Per the report, Fortune has rated Ripple as the only cryptocurrency company that is the best place to work. The blockchain company placed 17th out of a total of 70 tech startups which were reviewed. Outlining the metrics that were used to ascertain the placement for each company, it was revealed that Ripple had partnered with Great Place to Work, an analytics firm.
The duo were able to garner responses from the 60 questions that were given to 300,000 employees working for companies in the Bay area. The San Francisco Bay Area as it is called is situated in northern California.
Moreover, a company's selection as top on the list was based on a number of criteria including its sufficient Bay Area presence.
91 Percent of Ripple's Employees Say it’s a Great Place to Work
In Ripple's case, Great Place to Work's data shows that 91 percent of its employees had vouched that it is undoubtedly one of the companies a worker will like to pitch their tent.
97 percent of respondents outlined that people are willing to put in the extra effort to get work done, 96 percent said they could take time off work when they feel it is necessary, and 96 percent affirmed that employees are made to feel welcome upon joining the company.
Its worthy to note that a great percentage of workers at Ripple indicated that they are given the required tools needed to deliver their work and they are also proud to be part of the fintech firm
Ripple's Employee Says Company Has a Great Sense of Mission
An employee, reportedly stated that Ripple has a clear sense of mission and is straight forward from the onset.
Having found such a great place to showcase their expertise, these employees may be grateful to Jim Chauncey-Kelly, Ripple's team manager who is tasked with the job of employing people into the company and publicizing the company's job openings on Twitter.
Asides from Ripple, other firms that came that topped Fortune's list, include Hilton and Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Workday, Stryker Corporation, Cisco , Adobe, Deloitte , Dropbox, Nvidia, and Accenture .
Ripple, on the other hand, is reputably known for its XRP cryptocurrency which is the third most popular virtual asset based on market capitalization.
The company is also applauded for its blockchain platform which has been used by a vast array of financial institutions to facilitate cross-border payments across the globe. The American technology company also had its token listed on Coinbase Pro on February 28 and on March, 1, it was launched on Coinbase.com as well as the cryptocurrency exchange's mobile applications.
On March 1, Bitcoin Exchange Guide informed that Yoshitaka Kitao, CEO of SBI Holdings, a Tokyo-based financial services company group wants all Japanese banks to adopt Ripple's XRP and MoneyTap option.
